Forestry mulching equipment
Forestry Mulching • Southeastern Ohio

A smarter way to clear land.

One machine, one pass, one clean result. Forestry mulching grinds standing brush and small trees into a beneficial mulch layer — without the scarring of bulldozer clearing.

What is forestry mulching?

Forestry mulching is a land-clearing method that uses a single machine — a tracked carrier with a high-flow rotary mulcher head — to grind standing vegetation into mulch right where it stood. Brush, briars, vines, saplings, and small trees are processed in place, leaving a clean, walkable ground surface covered in nutrient-rich wood chips.

Compared to bulldozing, mulching is faster, cheaper, leaves topsoil intact, requires no burn permits, and produces zero hauled-off debris. For most Southeastern Ohio properties, it's simply the better tool for the job.

FAQ

What can a forestry mulcher handle?

Brush, briars, vines, saplings, and trees up to roughly 8 inches in diameter in a single pass. Larger trees can be handled with a second pass or felled separately.

How long does it take?

Most properties of 1–5 acres are completed in a single day. Larger or denser projects are scoped during the in-person quote.

Will it tear up my land?

No. The Kubota SVL110 is a tracked machine that spreads weight evenly. Your topsoil stays put, and you're left with a mulch layer instead of bare dirt.

Do you remove the mulch?

Mulch is left on-site as ground cover. It suppresses weeds, holds soil, and breaks down into a soil amendment over time.

Do you serve my area?

Yes — we cover roughly a 50-mile radius from Jackson, Ohio, including most of Southeastern Ohio.
